You may have heard of the butterfly effect, where it is said that the sedate flapping of a butterfly's wings can create enough atmospheric change to cause a hurricane on the other side of the world. Well, the Hummingbird can beat its wings to to 80 times a second. Just imagine the potential for change that could create!

Hummingbirds also symbolise flexibility because they are the only birds that can fly in every direction; up, down, forwards and backwards.
